The Anglo-South African financial giant, headquartered on Gresham Street, was officially unveiled as a new team sponsor alongside Standing Rock, building on their successful participation in the 2025 tournament.

The Snow Polo World Cup in St. Moritz is globally renowned as the most spectacular snow polo event. It features horses and elite athletes competing on a frozen lake high in the majestic Swiss Alps—a truly unique and extraordinary spectacle. The 2026 edition is scheduled to kick off on January 23rd and conclude on January 26th, positioning it immediately after the Davos World Economic Forum, which takes place just an hour away through the winding Swiss mountain passes.

Shaun Karpelowsky of Investec’s Switzerland arm expressed his enthusiasm for the elevated partnership: “We look forward to the association of our brand and beloved zebra with the Snow Polo World Cup. This is an out-of-the-ordinary event for polo lovers in St. Moritz and represents a special opportunity to mark the continued growth of our business and brand in Europe.”

The 41st Snow Polo World Cup

Investec and Standing Rock join an impressive line-up of team sponsors for the 41st edition of the tournament, which also includes Flexjet, Mackage, Azerbaijan Land of Fire, and St. Moritz.

Tournament founder and CEO, Reto Gaudenzi, highlighted the event's global significance: “Our existing and new partners underscore the enormous appeal of our tournament and its position as a global polo flagship, which is a testament to the great trust placed in us worldwide. St. Moritz is and will remain the epicentre of elegance, excitement, and sporting excellence.”

Tickets for this world-class event start at approximately $22 but can range up to $1,750 for premium VIP packages. The 2025 edition saw The Kusnacht Practice emerge victorious, beating the Azerbaijan Land of Fire team with a score of 5-4.5 to claim the coveted Snow Polo World Cup trophy.
